Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, and teacher in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of both a British father as well as an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Her appearances in commercials were numerous when she was a child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career. Then, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the following decade.
